Websites I've Created

I have a very diverse array of clients. Unlike many desginers, I chose not to go into a certain niche. I like to learn as much about various industries as I can and the best way for me to do this is by working across a limitless spectrum.

Airmont Distributing

Airmont Distributing

Challenge: Buck Huddle of Airmont Distributing contacted me Mid-January to design a simple website to showcase the new products he was distributing. The challenge was to come up with a complimenting color scheme to correspond with the existing Advantage PressurePro® website and brand.

Result: I came up with a sleek "racing stripe" motif with the Advantage PressurePro® color scheme. The entire website is coded in Transitional xhtml and CSS and includes a small Flash slideshow representing the product in use.

Outlaw Metalworks

Outlaw Metalworks

Challenge: John Schafer of Outlaw Metalworks contacted me about designing a website for his metal fabricating business. John wanted a website that oozed masculinity from every nook and cranny while remaining professional.

Result: I came up with a grungy torn diamond plate metallic theme. John already had his logo and I added a light grey glow. John was keen on having a dark maroon and black color scheme to go with the metal.

GenX Network Solutions

GenX Network Solutions

Challenge: Janene Randall contacted me about designing a website and corporate identity for her new start-up telecom business. She had absolutely no idea what she wanted the website to look like except that she wanted it to look like a "Gen X" business and very professional.

Result: I chose to go with a calming blue, white and turquoise color scheme. Imagery from iStockPhoto and StockExpert were used to give the website the young hip vibe Janene wanted to portray.

Tech Product Specialties - Plyboo™ Texas

Tech Product Specialties - Plyboo™ Texas

Challenge: Paul & Nancy Rice of Tech Product Specialties contacted me designing a website for a new line of products they were distributing. Paul & Nancy were in a huge rush to get the website up by the retailer's deadline that they couldn't even tell me what they wanted. I was given complete freedom on the design as long as it "looks great and is done as of yesterday!"

Result: Due to the very environmentally friendly product Plyboo™ is I chose a Green theme. The photos of the bamboo found throughout the website are of my sister company, CLJ Photography and were taken at the Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens in Houston, TX. Included is a Flash fun-facts about bamboo that rotates on the homepage.

Dignified Affordable Cremations & Funerals

Dignified Affordable Cremations & Funerals

Challenge: Larry Payette of Dignified contacted me about designing a website for his new crematory & funeral care business. He wanted a calm and relaxing color scheme and provided the photo of the dove. Being an Air Force Veteran, Larry wanted the Veterans page to be a bit more special and unique from the remaining website.

Result: I came up with a pale sky blue and cloud motif for the header and had the clouds fade into beautiful Dogwood Tree blooms. For the Veterans page I used the same header technique but instead had it fade into a peaceful and surreal view of a Veterans Cemetery. The entire website boasts a calm, dreamy and somewhat ethereal mood that truly adds "dignity" to funeral care.

Hotdog Corral

Hotdog Corral

Challenge: Shane Podolsky came to me wanting to have his "make-shift" website redesigned in an appropriate theme for his new hotdog catering business. He already had the cutest logo created by another talented designer and wanted a very friendly western theme.

Result: I created a wood hotdog stand theme and used photos of his various hotdog stands and carts as the photo montage on the home page. Shane was another client who couldn't quite tell me the look he was wanting but I was happy to hear him tell me I read his mind when he saw the first draft of the website. Shane was my very first paying client and thus I owe him a great deal for my confidence!
